Danfoss IXA A/S, from Vejle in Denmark, which was set up as an independent, private limited company in the spring of 2009, has included external investors in its ownership, and capital now exists for it to develop further and launch its first sensor product.

Danfoss IXA A/S came third in a competition to find the world’s best Cleantech idea. The competition, the World Cleantech Open, was arranged by the Kauffman Foundation and took place last week in San Francisco, California, with Danfoss IXA qualifying as the best candidate from Denmark.

On Monday this week, Danfoss IXA A/S, which was set up on April 1 2009, won the title of Denmark’s best Cleantech entrepreneurial company and will represent Denmark at the unofficial Cleantech World Championships in the USA.
