04-11-2009

On Monday this week, Danfoss IXA A/S, which was set up on April 1 2009, won the title of Denmark’s best Cleantech entrepreneurial company and will represent Denmark at the unofficial Cleantech World Championships in the USA.

More than 60 judges from, among others, the industrial sector, entrepreneurial circles and universities, evaluated Danfoss IXA and its patented sensor technology and found it to be the Danish Cleantech company with the most potential.

”We are so proud of the nomination. It means so much to the entire team that a panel of judges representing such a varied range of sectors acknowledged the idea and the business opportunities in what we do. At the same time, we are also proud to have the opportunity to represent Danfoss and Denmark at the Cleantech Company World Championships,” says President Henrik Gedde Moos

The international final of the Global Cleantech Open Ideas Competition is organised by the Kauffman Foundation and CTO international, and will be launched in Silicon Valley in week 47, where 2,500 participants are to judge Danfoss IXA alongside the winners from other national competitions. The final will be held in connection with Global Entrepreneurship Week, when the focus will be on entrepreneurship all over the world.
